The car is on 146k and I’ve just done a 700mile round trip in it and it didn’t skip a beat! The car has service history and has a stack of receipts with a lot of work being done on it amounting to almost £12, 000! New clutch, suspension refresh, battery, suspension airbags and a lot more!
The previous owner was an avid enthusiast and didn’t spare a penny maintaining the car but unfortunately was involved in an accident which deemed the car as Cat S. the damage wasn’t too serious and I have documented the repair and have pictures of it before.
Mechanically, the car asks for nothing it has been meticulously maintained and is an absolute dream to drive. The gear box is silky smooth and the suspension is all tight, it’s literally like driving on air. It recently passed its MOT with flying colours. So, it’s ready to go with almost 12 months MOT for the new owner. The car has been professionally remapped to 270bhp by Martin Hind who is a E39 expert and has a dyno print out with it.
All common issues have been addressed prior to arising for piece of mind. The car is originally an SE model but I have fitted the M-Sport front and back bumpers and the car has undergone a full body respray so is in pristine condition.
Cosmetically, the car is in excellent condition as it’s also received a full 3 stage detail so the paintwork is pristine. This has really made the beautiful slate green green pop. There are a few little age related marks here and there but nothing major at all! Not a single spot of rust anywhere and the jacking points are solid.
The interior is in black and it’s truly a beautiful place to be in. There’s plenty of room and you can seriously feel the build quality of BMWs best 5 series model. The seats and interior as a whole are in very good condition with age related wear but nothing major. No rips or tears.
Bad points:
-Parking sensors work when they feel like it. One or two parking sensors need replacing.
Apart from this there isn’t really anything wrong with the car! It’s ready to drive away and be enjoyed by the new owner.
As you can tell these are very minuet things which I never got around to doing in my ownership. Other than that the car is sound.
I’ve seen another car I want to buy, hence the sale. The car is priced accordingly NO TIMEWASTERS OR DREAMERS this is an appreciating future classic and your not getting a 530d MANUAL in better condition than this.
The original number play is CK52 XYV and will be put back on the car, private registration is not included in the sale.
