Description
A change in circumstances means I need to move on at least one of my cars. This is the one I’d rather keep for obvious reasons.
This is an incredibly clean and well looked after example of a rare Porsche Boxster Sport Edition 2. 7. Finished in undeniably the best colour, Guards Red, over a black leather interior.
The car has covered just 57, 000 miles since new and presents excellently inside and out.
The Sport Edition came with several optional extras as standard from the factory, including most notably the Sport Package. This includes the 6-speed gearbox as well as PASM (Porsche Active Suspension Management). Additionally, the Sport Edition benefits aesthetically from the full aero kit (front splitter, rear diffuser, ducktail split spoiler). Moreover, the Sport Edition also came with the Sports steering wheel, stainless steel door entry cards, rollover bars painted in exterior colour, and 18 inch Boxster S wheels all as standard.
This particular car also came equipped with hardback sports seats, heated seats, park assist and red seats belts to match.
The car underwent a minor service, brake fluid change, and air con re-gas in August 2023 at ADH Porsche.
However, most notably in terms of preventative maintenance, the coolant pipes were replaced, also at ADH Porsche, in September 2023 at a cost of £1, 700.
The car also went through another oil and filter change in May 2024.
In total, there are 8 stamps in the book, however I have an invoice for a service in 2018 that isn’t stamped.
A glance at the MOT history of this car reveals how well maintained it has been. It flew through its MOT this year with no advisories, much like it has for the last 6 years. This car has only ever failed 2 MOTs in its 17 year life (2011), both for headlights. This car has never had any mechanical advisories or failures, with the only advisories being tyres in 2016, and under trays in 2014.
The wheels have been refurbished recently, with new centre caps. Wrapped in Bridgestone Potenzas all round with loads of tread left.
The roof mechanism works flawlessly and the roof itself is in excellent order.
The car has 3 remote keys, however one is not currently functional. This may be due to needing a battery though as I haven’t investigated.
The car has 5 previous keepers and is HPI clear.
I am waiting to gauge interest before pulling the trigger on replacing all front suspension arms as there is currently a slight noise. So this work will be done for handover.
I will have more pictures as soon as I can get round to cleaning and photographing. In the meantime, please feel to inquire.
