White 1970 LHD 240z
Early Car - HLS30 - with vin date 09/ 70
First registered in the UK in July 1988. HPI’d when I bought it – I’m the 3rd registered UK owner and have owned it for almost 20 years .
Its been garaged for pretty much all that time - and not done a lot miles in that period . Recently driven for the first time in 4/ 5 years - as other project took priority .
Has a recent insurance valuation for £25k .
Its solid – and rust free in the areas that 240z 's suffer - Battery tray, spare wheel well , and radiator panel are original and good. Sills are great . Few small bits of bubbling but none through the paint .
It had a paint job just before I bought it – which was average .
I’ve basically tried to keep it running and tidy it up and quite a few receipts for the car ( most notable include ) :
New struts and springs ( 95 – Galliers)
Diff Mount ( 04 – MJP)
Rear hatch repair panel ( 04 – MJP)
Thermostat , gasket, Ignition refurb ( ( 09 – MJP)
All fuel hoses in bay replaced ( 09 – MJP)
Rear brake refurb ( 09 – zfarm)
Ali radiator fitted and new hoses ( 09 – USA)
Clutch slave cyclinder ( 09 )
New Rota RB x4 ( 16 x7 – Offset 0 ) ( 09 imported from USA )
Tail light converted to Euro spec – new gaskets and paint ( 10 )
Mesh Style Grille installed ( 10 )
Rear wheel bearings , fan belt , water pump , brake shoes ( 10 )
Rear struts stipped , new rear wheel bearings , new brake cylinder , new handbrake cable , front caliper , track rod ends , battery clamp, brake light switch , uk spec headlight bowls ( all by ZFarm- 2013 )
Rear Cylinder again – brake work ( 14)
Windscreen wiper motor rewind / rebuild ( 18 )

Interior is mainly original ( Blue vinyl - door cards , tunnel vinyl, headlining , plastic trim , and sun visors ) - seats are not original I don’t think . Carpets are a bit faded as are door cards .
Original steering wheel and instruments - Radio is not original and not working .
Spares I need to add up . Various new badges ( new in box ) , pedal rubbers, fuel sender , ball joints , ignition parts , dash cap , brake calipers etc. -
I have and will include for sale price a complete spare engine. Ive never ran it but seller advised it was rebuilt by Fourways – not long before I acquired it – complete with early flat top carbs .
Its a great looking car and has never let me down. Started on the button after standing for a few years and drove down the road .
My plan had been to restore to as deserves - but i bought another car and needs to go to a good home .

Its not a show winner at the moment but very presentable and with a a bit of TLC will darwn admiring looks more than many . I bought it neary 20 years ago as it was a good basis for a restoration - solid and fairly original . You can tell it hasnt been messed about with. Look on ebay and you will see loads if z's that are rotten and need loads of welsing or have been modded in various ways - this isnt that car .
I know ill regret selling it .
