Up for sale is this Obsidian Black Mercedes Benz SLK32 AMG R170
One of just 263 SLKs that we're brought over to the UK fitted with a handbuilt supercharged AMG engine. Remarkably powerful car, boasting 0-60 in 4. 8 seconds! Very rare car now, and likely to be a good investment.
First registered on the 9th November 2001 by Mercedes Benz Derby and purchased by us on the 17th January 2011.
Over the 15 years that we've owned the car it's always been garaged and very seldom been used for anything other than a run out on a sunny day. As a result of this the milage has stayed low, it's now on 72, 000, and the condition has remained excellent.
The car is HPI clear, never been stolen or written off, has 10 months MOT and has lots of service history with it. The original service book is present and there is a folder full of paperwork almost an inch thick containing old MOTs, reciepts for work as well as it's original bill of sale.
The car needs to be seen to be appreciated, there are of course some minor age related marks here and there but viewings are encouraged as it really is exceptionally clean for its age. The only thing to mention is that the cup holder won't lock in. However, It drives exactly as it should, without any issues to note. In preparation for its sale I recently took it to a local Mercedes Specialist who took a look over it and only noted that the tyres although are legal, are about ready for replacement. They passed the MOT with an advisory.
The car is located in Doncaster, however, I work away a lot so to make viewings potentially easier I can have the car moved to a friend's house in Gainsborough where it will be available for viewings at most times.
Obviously due the age and nature of the vehicle it is sold as seen without any returns or warranty.
