Believed to be a 1964 Vespa VBB
It was bought from an auction 15 years ago for me to form a 60’s themed display. It was displayed for 5 years before being removed and dry stored.
There is no paperwork or documents other than the auction display notice stating it is a 1964 model and details the engine and chassis number.
Little else is know
Following a tidy up of the building the ‘forgotten’ Vespa was cleaned up , old fuel drained, with fresh fuel it starts and runs ok . The gears select ok, brakes work as do the lights &horn !
For a 60 year old scooter it is very good condition although the chrome work would benefit from attention .
It would continue to make an ideal 60’s themed display ( I think there is also a period Parka somewhere in the garage to go with it) or as a runner or donor to a less attractive version!!
The Speedo is in KPH so it is reasonable to believe it originated outside of the ukSadly there is no documentation other than the auction notice -
It has been in my possession fo the last 15 years during which it has been permanently dry stored
