Description
My beloved MG MGF is for sale. After twenty-six years from new it just isn't being used any more, due to my failing health. I would very much like to see the car going to another enthusiast. The spec is here, but if you want to know anything about the car, or see any other pictures, just let me know.
MG MGF 1. 8 in pearlescent British Racing Green with green leather interior. Delivered to me new on 20/ 11/ 1988. The car has been 'looked after' by the MGF Centre for the past 20 years, and is known to them. Unfortunately failing health has forced the sale of this lovely car, and I will be sad to see it go after 26 years, hopefully to another enthusiast. The car is virtually as standard, and has hardly been out in the rain.

56, 500 miles
Pearlescent BRG (factory option)
Full green leather interior (factory option)

Masses of paperwork, etc
The car is as near to original as you can get, including the cassette player radio. The only alterations are the steel radiator (which rusted through) being replaced by the later aluminium Trophy(?) model, polyurethane bushes on the rear suspension, and the s/ s radiator and side vent grilles. After a few spots of oil were discovered in the water header tank the head gasket etc was changed by the MGF Centre in 2005 with no trouble since. It had new tyres at 55, 400 miles, and a new battery in 2023. It also has a Mike Satur hood cover, handy for sun or rain or climbing cats. Due to my failing health it has done next to no miles this year. There are lots of documentation from before the day I bought it, including paper and CD workshop manuals, electrical diagrams, etc. The rear window has always been unzipped before lowering the hood, and the tonneau has never been fitted, as the rear roll, which fits under the boot lid, has - as I have seen - sprung many boot lid hinges. The car isn't perfect, with a few touches required to the paintwork and wheels, but is a good, solid, unmodified example of the marque. It has never been involved in any accident. Currently SORN'd, but we have a long drive that can be used for a demo.
