Description
Jaguar Mk2 3. 4. 1966. The best colour. The best spec.
All synchromesh/ overdrive gearbox. Chrome wires. Dark Blue leather.
Matching numbers. 75K miles. Heritage certificate.
This car looks absolutely fabulous. Bodywork doesn’t need anything.
Underneath is very, very good. Excellent Chrome work.
Needs mechanical TLC which is why it is £16000 and not £26000.
Needs suspension bushes and engine tune up I suspect, engine could be smoother. Overdrive and gearbox perfect and smooth.
Good oil pressure. Cylinders are 161, 160, 155, 155, 155, 155.
Drives very well but at my age I cannot do the mechanics. I need power steering now.
Original leather has patina, no rips or holes. New headliner. New discs, new tyres and stainless exhaust.
Comes with fitted luggage.
I imported this car from Holland earlier this year as a toy (and for something to do). Headlights changed to RHD and with the help of JEC got the original registration number back on the car.
I have other Jags that take my time. I need the space. My XK120 will be next to go.
Would prefer contact by email only initially. Car was originally registered in Cheshire. Restored in the UK in the early 2000's.
Car was then exported to France for a few years, then to Holland for a few years and now back with me in the UK.
