Description
Belgian Auto Show Car, on the stand in 1974. This is one of 5 total convertibles built left hand drive for the European market (of approx. 500 convertibles total). Brought to the U. S. by TV’s Chef Tell in the 1980s and a major restoration started.
Solid car that runs great. It is not concours. The paint is starting to show its age. It is a good looking, reliable, very solid driver. I have owned it since 2010 and have driven it often on lengthy road trips.
In the 1980s the 440 V8 engine and the transmission were rebuilt and it had a high quality respray. Resoration stalled until 2010 when I bought it and got it back on the road. Much work since them. Rebuilt, powder coated front suspension, steering rack rebuilt (2023) Upgraded a/ c system, upgraded alternator, newer tires (2021), new starter, battery, master cylinder, pads, rebuilt servo, LED lights installed. In 2022, carb rebuild, new fuel pump, upgraded fans and aluminum radiator (never overheats!).
The stereo is a double DIN screen that connects to your phone and has a backup camera. When not in use the screen is covered with a period speaker cover. I will supply the original radio panel with the car if you prefer stock.
Many more photos available.
Located in Maryland, USA, clean title. I can drive the car to the port of Baltimore to drop it off with an exporter. Open to serious, reasonable offers.
