Description
1974 HONDA CB360T, completely original and unrestored, very nice condition, just 5076 miles.
Not perfect condition by any means but pretty darned good for a 50 year old bike. Even has all the original stickers and reflectors still in place. There is some surface rust on the front mudguard, a slight ding on the top of the tank (which could be pushed out) and the odd scuff here and there but nothing major. Looks like the engine casings have been sprayed silver at some point to tidy them up, but I don't think it's hiding any damage. The front fork lowers have some corrosion as one would expect but this is an easy fix for anyone with the time and inclination. The stanchions are perfect.
The engine starts easily, runs nicely and pulls well. The carburettor has had new seals to cure a leak. There are no oil leaks (it's a Honda).
It rides very well, good suspension, comfy seat, good brakes (need fresh fluid) and enough go to keep up with traffic. Would make a great city or commuter bike and, being quite a sought after machine, you won't lose any money when you come to sell it.
I bought the bike with the intention of using it during the summer months to get to and from a local airfield, accessible via a farm track, (hence the knobbly tyres!) but I only rode it a couple of times due to the weather. Comes with it's original road tyres to refit if desired as the knobbly tyres do feel a bit squidgy on the road.
The pictures give a pretty accurate view of the bike and I've tried to include all the defects. The only things I would add is that the red paint looks a bit brighter in the pictures and there are some tiny flecks of white paint on the tank which don't show up.
All-in-all a great little bike and at £3995 I don't think it's overpriced. If you need any further info please feel free to drop me a line.
