Description
GT6 is in excellent condition. A previous owner restored it in 2009, and it has been very well cared for ever since.
The interior is like new and benefits from reupholstered seats, new carpets and a 12v outlet power supply. All clocks and gauges work well.
Revotec electric fan and waterless coolant operate perfectly. Servo-assisted brakes were recently serviced.
Lucas Electronic ignition.
Solenoid, starter motor and fuel pump recently changed. 4-speed and working overdrive.
Converted to run on unleaded.
The engine runs really well and has recently had timing done, and the carbs rebalanced.
Minilite wheels on excellent tyres.
The tailgate stays in the open position unaided, which can be rare for these cars. I have a folder full of receipts and some spare parts, some good and some not-so-good.
V5C is present, along with MOTs prior to 2019, which is helpful for mileage purposes. The car is MOT and tax-exempt.
It is a fantastic example of the ever-rare Mk2, probably the prettiest of all the versions. There is a 2cm mark on the bonnet, which is hardly noticeable but would be remiss not to mention. 2 sets of keys.
Although not in any great rush, the car is priced very competitively to sell.
