Description

Inca Yellow. 76 Registered I am the fourth owner, bought the car over 15 yrs ago. Black interior with black mohair soft top , cream inside. Body work on the car is good. Any rust or damage has been dealt with. Underside regularly treated with waxoil. Car has always been garaged with a dehumidifier. No accidents. Annually serviced and MOT. The car has an agreed value of £22, 000. But it’s the wrong time to sell and I sadly need the space for work.
It has a hard top. On a vertical storage stand. In good condition though vinyl inside could do with cleaning no rips.
Engine rebuilt when I bought it. BW35 been replaced with a rebuilt one the same. Now have a checked and rebuilt spare that comes with the car. New front callipers and discs . Prop shaft balanced. What ever was needed has been replaced new From Rimmers Fitchett .. etc. Comes with a stack of spares.
Modifications;
Electronic Ignition,
Kenlow Fan,
Stainless exhaust,
Electric Water Pump Craig Davies,
Slower ratio diff fitted .(Speedo not re geared so 26 0n clock = 30MPH) Diff rebuilt.
New modified drive shafts fitted.
New DAB USB radio with dual core speaker.
Rear child seat belt.
Upholstery All good. Any work needed on seats has been done. 30mm crease on vinyl on toneau cover. New soft top by Aldridge in last couple of months. Black carpets are acceptable , getting thin in some places. Chrome work is generally good. Inside of bumpers have been painted and waxoiled.
Some pin spots of surface rust on the chrome. Paintwork is good no rust.
There was an advisory on last MOT regarding near rear hub, this has been replaced.
All tyres good. Wheels have been refurbished and lacquered.
The car is admired wherever I take it. Not concourse but 90% there, Engine bay could do with a good clean. There are no leaks. No water or oil in V . The carbs could do with adjusting the choke isn’t quite right on cold start. But runs without a problem.
In the 15 plus years I have had it , it has only broken down once. Rotor arm failed!!. This car is a real talking point. Admired wherever I take it. Has been used as a wedding car four times. A real practical classic. Loved by my dogs (seats always covered) and granddaughter. I have tried to keep the car as original as possible, only making mechanical upgrades such as the EWP which is a real godsend. Having a computer read out of engine temperature. . etc.
