Description
The car was first registered 20/ 03/ 1997, (P reg.) and I am the 7th owner of the car and has been in my possession for the last 15 years, during which it has been extremely reliable and never let me down.
The car has a full service history by various recognised Porsche specialists. The car has a current MOT Certificate until 20th May 2025.
The car is finished in metallic Zenith Blue and trimmed with grey/ blue leather and alloy interior pack.
Other additions that the car has include:-
Tiptronic semi automatic gearbox
18 inch genuine Porsche Turbo wheels
Sports exhaust (unobtrusive) but sounds great
Electric sunroof
Electric seats
Remote Central Looking, Alarm & immobiliser
Electric Windows
Rear wiper
2- keys plus Red key
3600cc Varioram engine
Paintwork in excellent condition, no marks, chips or dents.
All warning lights go off as they should after start up , no fault codes, all level indicators work (even notoriously unreliable oil level gauge)
Good oil pressure and never overheats.
Heater works extremely well, as does AC which has recently had the compressor rebuilt and the system regassed.
Being one of the very last Air Cooled 911 model cars, it is highly sort after and history has proved these model of cars make a great investment.
The last major service on the car was carried out by RS911 Porsche - Restoration in June 2022 which cost in excess of £4300 and since that date the car has coved approximately 1000 miles. The work included new new brake discs, pads, new rear springs, front and rear drop links together with new oil, fluids, gaskets and spark plugs etc.
when I purchased the car it had 69000 miles on the clock and has now covered 96600 miles ie 27600 trouble free miles in the last 15 years. The only reason for selling the car is that I’ll soon be moving to a new build bungalow, which unfortunately does not have a garage and as the car has been a ‘garage queen’ during my ownership it needs to find a new home. The car has one disadvantage that is reflected in the extremely low asking price and the reason is the car is CAT ‘D’.
My understanding is that the car had a new front wing replaced in 2000 and was classed as an uneconomic repair by the insurance company. However, the car was obviously repaired to a very high standard and during the last 15 years I have been unable to find any sign of the repair.
