Description
1973 Triumph Trophy TR6P
I bought this motorbike a couple of years ago for a complete rebuild but it will need finishing off. All of the hard work has been done and loads of new parts have gone onto the bike as well re-chroming original items and rebuilt wheels with stainless steel spokes.
Engine was rebuilt before I bought it, I had the head off and looks like its all OK. It was originally a police bike (I have the log book), hence the white paint, issued to the Garda in Dublin on 30th March 1973. The buyer will have to contact DVLA about registration. The present reg number is 8725 ZH, I have the original buff log book. It will need the wiring completed; the loom is already in place, oil to engine, gearbox, mudguard stays, few other bits and pieces.
About £2, 500 have been spent on new/ recondition parts including: Rechromed original parts £276, wheels rebuilt £80, Stainless steel spokes £148, wiring harness £100, Carberator £110, Exhaust pipes £104 and silencers £207 and a large amount of “Bits and Pieces”. Receipts are available to the buyer.
The bike is advertised at what it cost to buy and all of the parts that were bought for it, but I am open to offers near this price.
We have relocated abroad and I am unable to the bike shipped.
This bike is located in Launceston, North Cornwall.
