Space Grey / Fox Red Combo
Rebuilt engine at 76k, precision balanced bottom end with arrow rods saving nearly 1kg rotating mass. Evolve remap, decat, 2-pipe mod. This cost ~£7. 5k
Spacers to improve stance and uprated brake pads (RSL19 - bit squealy but fine for road use) but otherwise largely standard.
The wheel was refinished by Royal Wheels not too long ago so it feels lovely and new.
Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tyres all round with lots of tread. They were fitted 10k miles ago and the amount of tread gives an idea as to how it's driven!So my story with it. I bought this back in Jan 2021 on around 80k miles and she now sits on 107k miles. It's been my family car for the last 4 years and has absolutely ticked every box as the perfect family car. My kids love it, my wife.... tolerates it and when I'm lucky enough to drive it I get to enjoy that epic soundtrack. I know everyone will say it but it's genuinely had an easy life in my ownership. I've done countless trips to Scotland to see family so much of the milage is steady. Of course I drive it like it should be driven occasionally but not as often as I should, hence the sale. Well, that and the fact I want to direct funds into a 4-seater aeroplane as I feel I've done the V8 thing now and should try something different.
I've had it serviced every year around March at G-Tech Motors in Derby. Recently I fitted a new battery myself and also I've got a thermostat to fit as well as a new external air sensor as a recent scan showed an occasional error linked to thermostat but no warning lights are lit on the car. I may get round to it at the weekend but just wanted to be open and honest with any little niggles.
I took it to Steering Specialists in Wakefield in 2022 and had a front end suspension refresh with a refurbished steering rack due to play in the centre. It had new drop links, control arms etc. and as such it's a lovely solid drive now feeling as pointy as an M3 should

Finally, as you can see it looks amazing after a clean. I've had it ceramic coated and detailed each year at MB23 to keep it looking it's best and I've just dropped it off tonight for the same. However, be realistic, it's 2009 and on 107k so it's no garage queen. For me, these cars are to be driven while we still can not kept in a garage. Of course I want it looking as good as it can but it obviously won't look like new. The bonnet isn't perfect with stone chips commensurate with the age and milage. The bonnet does show signs of paintwork but I've never seen evidence of anything more sinister, it's just there are tiny little spots which may clean up with a machine polish tomorrow, I don't know. I just want to make sure anyone is clear on condition, again given the age she scrubs up really well and always gets looks from those who know. The price reflects this.
