Description
The 350cc sports motorcycle that won the 1921 TT Senior 500cc race.
Fitted with a Binks carburettor and, new for 1927 twistgrip throttle, this motorcycle is the sports version of the TT winner. It has both a pilgrim automatic oil pump and a tank mounted manual pump to ensure the engine gets sufficient lubrication. A hand gear change is used to operate the Sturmey Archer 3 speed gearbox.
The engine has been recently overhauled and fitted with a new piston and rings that will require some running in. Fitted with new tyres and an excellent stainless exhaust, it may not be in concours condition, but is a good tidy example of one of the best 1920s sports motorcycles.
