I am selling my 2005 BMW M3 CS coupe T18DDR, in Interlagos blue metallic. This is a well maintained CS, in very good condition, there is no bodywork rust, the front fenders have been replaced with genuine BMW items, and any other corrosion promptly fixed and painted, the marks showing on the wheel arch pics are raindrops. MOT till March 2025. This is a genuine and original CS.
This car has an SMG gearbox, this auto & semi auto box should not be confused with the ordinary M3 unit, CS improvements which include upgraded software give a positive experience to gear changes, with rev matched gear changes and smooth take offs. The steering wheel paddles or gear stick change give a comfortable driving experience, suiting the CS's powerful fast cruising nature. This particular car has a replaced gearbox oil pump also, which gives a good positive gear change.
Under 6k miles ago new uprated rod bearings were fitted at A Reeve Performance, also uprated air filter and engine mounts. The vanos was rebuilt with new chain guide and bolts etc., a new SMG gearbox oil pump was fitted. The rear subframe has been reinforced with new brake pipes and the area undersealed, and other work carried out also. Receipts are in a file for past work done, service book is complete. The genuine CS wheels have 2 new correct spec Michelins fitted on the rear for this sale, the fronts are good, the engine oil has been recently changed using correct grade Castrol synthetic and a new filter element.
The car's interior is good, black leather in top condition, brightwork and carpets good too. All switches work, windows, sunroof and dials function correctly. As you know, a properly maintained BMW engine will run well for high mileages, this CS has been looked after by its past owners, and runs good as new. M3s need to be exercised regularly, which I'm unable to do for this car, so I need to pass it's care to a new owner.
The DDR reg number belongs with the car, a CS deserves a special reg. I've just fitted new plates and the DDR number is included in the sale price. All photos shown are recent and up to date, these rare cars are a good investment, this class of vehicle will never be made again.
