Description
Registered 17th April 1957; Matching Numbers on the machine and exactly the same on the V5c with a Road Rocket engine but the frame should not be the same as the engine number; no idea why it is so but therefore it is being sold as a 'Replica' although we do know that it has been like this since at least 1968 from a copy of the Buff Log Book in the history file; last owner 12 years; Twin Chrono Clocks; TLS front brake; Road Rocket alloy mascot', flangeless alloy wheels starts exceptionally easily with an extremely sweet yet willing engine; runs and rides very well; for one of these machines, it is remarkably oil tight and has a lovely light clutch with a very good front brake; Rev Counter is running at half speed because it clearly has the wrong drive box fitted on the timing cover; older restoration therefore it does carry a few relatively minor 'battle scars' as it has been much loved an in regular use but still presents well; only being sold due to the long termowners advancing age as he is struggling with the weight of it etc; lovely riders machine. TRADE. p/ x welcome. More details, photos and video link to the machine running on our website at: ventureclassics. com
