1966 SUNBEAM V8 260 TIGER. ORIGINAL/ MATCHING NUMBERS. RARE. LHD. FOR RESTORATION
INFO / BACKGROUND
The Tiger is currently partially stripped in one of our workshops with engine and certain parts removed for inspection - identified issues requiring welding/ repair include the left footwell / rear wheel arch which CustomBuiltClassics will undertake.
The body shell is otherwise remarkably solid (ref photos of superficial rust removed exposing healthy metal beneath)
Note that all unpainted areas with similar superficial rust were previously sandblasted when the car was purchased ( wheel arches / front end / inner front quarters / engine bay / floor / boot). Storage has resulted in what is only superficial rust visible in the photos.
When a deposit is received I'll re sandblast these areas to ensure even this rust is removed for the Tiger's new owner.
Extremely complete with all frames for the roof, front/ rear lights etc. An extra pair of doors is included
NB The repairs and sandblasting above will be included in the sale price, saving the purchaser a huge amount of expense and effort !!
