Description
1932 Austin Seven Arrow Foursome
3 speed, 747cc - Reg: - FH 7857
This car was restored by my dad, he had the chassis, engine and parts for this car stored for many years until he had time to restore it.
The restoration is to a high standard as he had a lifetimes experience of restoring old cars. Before restoring the Austin Seven Arrow he restored an Austin 7 Van, a Rolls Royce 20/ 25, an Austin 12 Clifton, and an Austin 12 Heavy Clifton Tourer.
Dad was focused on getting authentic parts for the car and ensuring the build was as close to the original specification as possible. He was active buying parts on E-Bay and in the Austin 7 clubs, he kept receipts for these parts and other services he engaged to build the car. He has the receipts and some restoration photographs which can be provided with the sale. This car is on the Austin 7 Arrow register, it was noted as one of the first long wheel based foursomes to be made by Arrow and is a rare car:
There are only 41 Austin 7 Arrows known to remain in the world.
These are made up of 5 different surviving models.
There are only 15 known Long Wheel Base Austin Seven Arrow Foursomes known to remain in the UK, 10 of which are believed to be in road-worthy condition.
We would love to keep the car but due to limited storage space, we must part with this cherished vehicle. The car is in working condition and has been run in the last few months so can be used and enjoyed straight away.
If you’re an enthusiast looking for a rare piece of automotive history, this car could be your next pride and joy. Reach out for more details or to express your interest.
