Description
Aston Martin DB7 i6 Stratstone Limited Edition
• 1 of 19 Limited Edition
• Shortly before the ending of DB7 i6 production in May 1999, Stratstone of Mayfair, the London dealer of Aston Martin’s, commissioned a small series of identical cars to the previous Stratstone commissioned cars, these Stratstone limited editions were built entirely on the production line by Aston Martin themselves.
• In total, 19 examples were built, 9 Coupe’s and 10 Volante’s. All the cars were made in right hand drive and all were sold in the UK market. Each car was individually numbered and embossed with the new owners name.
• This particular example is car number 15 of 19 and is a Coupe. Particulars of the unique and fully loaded specification of the cars are listed below:
• 1999MY
• Special order Bowland Black coachwork
• Light grey interior, piped in charcoal (not the 2 tone colour scheme as seen in the regular DB7 i6)
• Charcoal leather upper environment, Stone Grey lower
• Seat headrests embossed with ‘Stratstone of Mayfair’
• Black carpets edged with Light Grey
• Embroidered front over mats
• Polished mesh grille in the front bumper with Chrome surround
• Smoke Alcantara headlining
• Numbered sill plaques
• Spark Silver wheels
• Carbon Fibre dashboard interior facias and gearstick surround (first time that this was available on a DB7)

• Customers took delivery of their cars (including Simon Cowell) at a special ceremony at Blenheim Palace. The ceremony included special transformation to the Palace in a chartered helicopter followed by a lunch. All before each customer was given a tour of their new vehicle by an Aston Martin representative outside the main entrance of Blenheim Palace. One might say that the setting, occasion and item was truly extraordinary indeed. Fitting the Aston Martin slogan of, “Power, Beauty, Soul.”
• Our Aston Martin has been lovingly cherished and is ready for a new custodian to take care of it. We have a genuine reason for the sale as we need to downsize our collection.
