Description
This is my gorgeous camper from 1970.
I have owned it for about three years, previously owned by a friend of mine for 17 years. I have a massive service history with every bill shown, no MOT but maintained regardless of cost.
Her condition is very good with a all-over turkis green paint job a few years before I bought her. Recent costs include a new engine, power steering, new seat belts, window winders, new leisure battery, new battery recharge system, internal lighting, roof-rack new Sony radio, electric hookup and minor welding. She has all the original Dormobile furniture as well as stacks of spares, cutlery, dishes, fire pits, gas cylinder, hob, new hammock cloth, BBQ and more. We recently fitted a cup cubby between the from seats integrating a massive sub-woofer for the amazing sound system. I bought this for my wife - she cried when it arrived!
It's an absolute joy to drive - especially with the new engine and the wonderful power steering steering system. (Before that, parking was a pig!)
She has everything for overnight trips - she recently returned from a 1400 mile trip to Scotland via Dorset and has never let us down since the new engine! (And only once before that.)
We live in a flat and have no parking here, so we pay to use a local farm, this and needing the money are the two reasons to sell her. It's going to be a very sad day when she drives off!
