Imported from South Africa a few years ago for my son, it is DVLA registered as a 2. 0 engine on V5. So if a 480 bhp Toyota twin cam (see dyno chart) is not your thing you can drop in a 2. 0 Pinto or Zetec or whatever you want and the V5 will still be OK.
The engine starts and runs let me know if you want to see a video of it running as I can't post it on here. My son used the car a few times when it first arrived and with that engine it is incredibly fast. It came with a plastic body kit which was removed and Forest rear arches temporarily fixed in place, hence the primer in the lower areas. The bonnet was stripped to bare metal, flatted and painted in primer. The underside is good and solid as are the panels. The original wiring was a mess so a re-wire was started but needs finishing.
Soon after restoration started a change of circumstances meant it hasn’t been touched for over a year so reluctantly it is now for sale. I've included a photo of it as it was with the plastic body kit on.
This is a project and will need a complete restoration. Any questions ask.
