LANDROVER DEFENDER 90 200 TDi HARD TOP
This Landrover was subject to a full strip down and rebuild in 2019 before being purchased by its current owner, and we are selling as we now do not have space to store this immaculate museum piece. The mileage was believed to be correct, and in fairness to the vehicle it was in great condition when the restoration was completed
In short, the vehicle was stripped down to bare chassis, this was then shot blasted and primed and painted, original axles were stripped, blasted and painted, same with all suspension arms and brackets etc. Bulkhead was stripped and blasted, primed painted etc etc. Basically, the vehicle was completely stripped, prepped, and painted to a very high standard. It is probably in better condition than when it left the factory. No expense was spared, and today's cost would be over £35, 000 for the works alone. In the five years since the vehicle was restored, the vehicle has covered less than 500 miles, and has been dry stored when not in use.
Photos of the work carried out in stages available. This is certainly a one off gem. There simply are very few defenders that have had such a degree of work to restore them as this one has. I searched and inspected many before I found this one… seeing is believing…
