Owned since new by myself, first registered on 1st March 1999. Have original bill of sale and credit agreement, along with all sales literature & brochures from 1999. Genuine Mazda hard top, wall brackets and cover are also included.
Car has been garaged since new, with the hard top being fitted in October & removed at Easter, hence protecting the soft top.
The car is now fitted with 15" genuine Mazda alloy wheels purchased from MX5 Parts and fitted at 113, 728 miles. The original refurbished factory fitted alloys are now fitted with Goodyear Ultra Grip 9 (Winter Tires 185/ 60 R14 T (82)) and have only been used for one winter and have covered less than 200 miles and all have at least 9mm of tread. Original supplied space saver spare wheel which has never been used is also included.
Full respray in original racing silver metalic, panel repairs & wax oiled by MX5 City in December 2012 (cost just over £3k). The paintwork is in good all round condition, although minor blistering has begun to appear on the rear wheel arches.
The interior is original aside from an upgraded Pioneer head unit. The seats were reupholstered 12 years ago as part of the restoration and are still in good condition, having covered approximately 20, 000 miles since then. The carpeting is well-maintained and presentable throughout. All buttons, dials, and gauges are fully operational, the only exception is the alarm system, which was isolated after the restoration work was completed.
Service booklet showing full-service history at Mazda for the first twelve years of ownership. The car has been serviced by Mazda and then an independent MX-5 specialist since. All servicing sheets and invoices for everything ever purchased are included. I also have copies of MOT’s for the last ten years.
The following works have been undertaken:
Brake disks and pads replaced on all four wheels at 122, 760 miles
New cambelt fitted at 121, 202
Exhaust replaced at 121, 202
New ignition barrel fitted at 127, 526 with two new keys.
The MOT runs out on 1st April 2025.
