This 1988 Jaguar XJ40 has only done just over 34000 miles! Silver with automatic gearbox was purchased in Singapore by the then UK Governor as his official ministerial car for the Queen’s official visit the following year in 1989. He kept this XJ40 as his ministerial car for the next 10 years. Upon its return to the UK it went into an auction house and purchased by a private buyer who then kept in a private museum/ collection for just over 20 years. The next owner then fully recommissioned the XJ40 and it remained garaged and not used!. I purchased this lovely old girl and obtained a fresh Mot and have only covered very few miles locally to me. The condition is amazing and it was remarked at the testing station that how amazing the underside is like new! So, a new MOT with no advisories. So, now taxed and ready for any test you may wish to have. Remember this old girl is 36 years old and does require a few small interior trim attention, the seats are really good but radio does not work and just needs a bit of Love, hence the price! Due to downsizing and health problems I have decided to now find the next owner of this special Jaguar.
