South African import brought into the UK in 2016. All duties and customs paid, fully UK registered and has its V5C. Comes with the classic, metal, black and silver plates and front fog lights.
Features brand new deep dish MK1 style alloy wheels (only ever driven to MOT test centre and back), new leather seats and panels, new upholstery throughout, 6x9 speakers in the parcel shelf, fuel tank in boot, Kent 1600 X-flow engine with drilled out bore holes for a little more power. It was tested and tuned on a rolling road in November 2020 and does 90bhp. Engine was rebuilt in SA in 2016, the car has not been driven since then other than to the MOT centre and round the garages forecourt.
It is currently not running because I’ve disconnected the battery as the dash started smoking when driving back from the MOT centre. We found that previous owners had done a poor wiring job and some wires started fusing together so I wouldn’t risk starting it up again until replacing both wiring looms. Once this is done the car should be drivable again but still needs a load of little jobs doing to it to get it up to prime condition.

I spent a lot of time and money working on it but now I need to pass the baton on to someone else as I need the space it takes up.
