Ford Capri sale
Please find my Ford Capri 1985 2l laser for sale.
I have owned this car for 3 years which currently has 66000 miles on it.
The car is mechanically sound and has no rust underneath. It has been professionally waxi coated and shows no signs of rust on the sills or chassis. The engine has been set up at HT racing and has had a rolling road test. Starts well and drives brilliantly.
The car has recently had a new battery, starter motor, fuel pump, timing belt, engine oil seals and a
few other little bits.
When I bought the car in 2021 I had a new clutch, cambelt and shock absorbers fitted.
The car currently sits on 4 Goodyear tyres which were purchased mid 2022.
The Capri is currently running a twin 36 Webber carb and has a leightened flywheel with a sportex exhaust. It also has a 4 - 2 - 1 exhaust manifold.
I have had the brakes checked and the tappets measured properly.
The body work is in need of some work. The bonnet is starting to peel and crust. The roof and a few rust bubbles coming through.
The passenger rear panel is starting to peel as well and the valences are starting to crisp.
My plan was to go around the body panel by panel and get it sorted but after two panels I have not had the chance to finish it.
The interior is pretty good with the general breaks in the dash board and a few rips in the seats.
The car comes with a heap of history paperwork with work done and has been added to in my ownership. The Capri will also come with a bag of spare parts like new polly bushes, rear quarter valances, rear light covers and loads of other stuff.
2 front pioneer speakers and two rear edge speakers are fitted and sound great!
Reason for sale is due to buying a BMW E30, as an impulse buy, and needing the room to work on that.
I have loved every second owning this car and mechanically it is sound with a few bits to sort to make it a real nice car.
