1989 Ford Sierra 2. 9i Ghia 4x4 Estate, Radiant red, 5dr manual, LHD, 150bhp.
Imported by me from Germany in 2014, owned since.
Has PAS, Fr e/ w, c/ locking, ABS, mt75 5 spd, SLRS.
Will be sold with a full MOT, currently untested(exp Mar 2024).
My daily for many years, then stored indoors for a while. Loss of storage, and lack of lottery win, forces reluctant sale of a car that took me 15 years to find. Am told only 48 LHD models ever sold... now I know why I couldn't find one lol :-(
Car is in good condition, body not mint, mechanically excellent, 100% reliable, never ever let me down.
Well maintained regardless of cost, has had in my ownership....
New front prop
New windscreen, correct tint but not heated.
All 4 calipers, discs, pads, flexis replaced with new.
All 4 road springs (Has SLRS, shocks original and fine, replaced springs with standard 4x4 ones, as soggy originals just got too soggy )
Powdercoated original alloys. Good set of matching tyres.

Cap , plugs, leads, rotor, oil, filter etc, serviced last year, no miles since
Viscous coupling

Battery (correct terminal type)
Bonnet (new GF, old one had a dent we couldn't get to right at the front)
Has RHD headlamps now.
Corroded rear chassis legs and rear end of sills.. usual thing on a Sierra, fully repaired, new sills fitted , underbody sealed ,£1250 , ouch, but done.
Has just been professionally valeted, including engine bay.
Interior is good, apart from one nick in the left rear door card (pic shown). Carpets nice, seats good, no rips or tears, all shampood, no dirt to sit in ftw.
Full set of genuine Ford rubber floor mats included.
Has a tow bar fitted, never used it.
Car perfectly fine for everyday use, but need to add these issues, just so as you know....
Speedo doesn't work. Never has in my ownership. Came with a new upper cable, fitted that, but still nothing. Cannot find the lower cable new, so maybe that, or drive broken. Never bothered with it after that, as used satnav instead.
Tacho works sometimes...
Sunroof seal glass to rubber leaks when parked facing downhill. Have sealed it with black silicone, does not leak now, but a s/ h leak free sunroof (from one of my other Sierras, so I know it doesn't leak)supplied with the car.
Crack in the rear bumper, as shown in pic.
Paintwork needed if it is to be mint... bubble each side of the roof, wheelarch small bubble... and now dink in drivers door since returning from cleaners, dammit. Left and front wing has a small dent also, please see pictures.
Has clear front indicator units fitted... I prefer those, but, as original , amber ones can come with the car if you wish.
Has an aftermarket loadspace cover fitted. As it came to me, but if you would prefer genuine, as UK spec, I can supply one of those with the car.
The price advertised is the least I will take, so please, no offers, and please do not book to see it thinking you will take it for less, you won't.. Just so as to make that clear to save everyones time. At the risk of sounding picky, that's how it is... owes me much more. Is a super car for really no money at all....
