Description
1955 James Captain trials with 1956 engine and the more reliable 3 speed gearbox. Acquired dismantled from a deceased estate and rebuilt as seen. Specification includes original frame and hubs and BSA forks which was the preferred option in the period. It has aluminium rims.
We dismantled the engine and replaced the main bearings, seals and piston rings and clutch corks and springs.
Registered and SORN’d. Would make a lovely addition to a collection and could be used in classic trials. This little motorcycle was asking to be reborn and is seeking a sympathetic new owner!
