Description
Very rare right-hand drive 230 W143 Cabrio B.
Car was delivered to London in February 1938.
The car was recovered in America in the late 1990s and shipped to Belgium in 2001, where I then carried out the full restoration myself.
Car was completely dismantled and completely rebuilt with the necessary originality.
The restoration was finished about eight years ago.
Has matching numbers, original type carburettor,....
Is one of the later W143 with the ZF 4-speed gearbox, shifts and drives much smoother than those with the older gearbox.
Car is in perfect driving condition and regularly used for tourist tours. What I find special about the car is that it was constructed entirely to the English market. Right-hand drive, all lighting is from Lucas (Kong of the road) instead of Bosch,
Dashboard in miles and pounds.
Due to the right-hand drive version very rare.
