1974 Series 2 Kammtail Spider in wonderful original condition the car must be seen/ driven to be appreciated.
The car presents in excellent condition has a strong engine (rebuilt in 2019@70K miles) with strong oil pressure both on cold start and when warm the car holds a steady water temperature.
All gauges operational and electrical systems working including lights, indicators, heater, wipers, horn all gears engage as expected with no crashing in any gears. Bilstein shocks all round that hold the road well with firm brakes.
Tax and Mot exempt, although the car had a clean first time pass in Apr 24 and has been through a recent rust prevention (Dynax Hydrate-80) and (Lanoguard) underseal (see underside picture). The car in my ownership has had a number of period features sourced from Ian Ellis, Classic Alfa & Veloce Sport were sourced and installed on the car, such as a restored set of period steel wheels, original FISPA air box. set of S3 Quadrafoglio front seats, new leather gaiter are a few of the parts installed in 2024.
The car has had had a full major service in May 24 which included Oils, Fluids, Water, Timing and Carb tune-up and a replacement Brake servo installed to restore the vehicles full braking.
The outer body present well with minor age related chips, it is understood the car was fully restored buy a previous owner in the mod 2000’s and the driver’s side has had recent panel and paint works to correct a number of dents and scratches. Doors/ bonnet/ boot all open/ close well and have good shut-lines.
Overall the interior is in good original condition with the dashboard showing age related cracks common for this age. The roof was replaced in 2014 and is still deep back with a clear rear plastic and is drum tight, tonneau cover with car also. Bluetooth media player has also been installed in the car. Dual relays have also been installed into the Headlamp circuits to protect the column stalks.
