Here we have a true rarity, restored to an exceptionally good standard, this 1965 Aermacchi (Harley Davidson) Brezza 150 has been laid up in dry storage after being off the road for many years.
Aermacchi-Harley-Davidson presented the 150cc 2-stroke scooter named Brezza on the Motosalone dello Fiera Campionaria di Milano. It was a daring venture on a market where two major competitors, namely Vespa and Lambretta, were the experts in the market. The Brezza never became a real hit. Only 2, 169 models were manufactured between 1963 and 1969.
There is a second 1963 Brezza 150 included for restoration, original and untouched. This is unrestored but would make an excellent stable mate for the ‘Numero Uno ‘ partner once restored to the same high standard.
This really is a great find, having the benefit of a full rebuild with full photographic records and a new V5, an absolutely genuine Scooter which was saved and has been the subject to a full renovation. Engine, gearbox, and clutch all been done to an extremely high standard.
For the true enthusiast this is a great find, with enormous potential to show, or indeed ride out. Obviously, MOT and Tax exempt and in real terms could grace any collection of either Harley Davidson’s or vintage scooter enthusiasts.
The scooter had conventional 3-speed shift on the handlebars and the two-stroke engine was fed by a Dell'Orto SH 1/ 18 carburettor. Electrics were 6 volts via flywheel magneto, and the 90 kg machine had 3. 00 x 12-inch tyres front and rear.
The engine tear down and rebuild was done to an exceptionally good standard, without quality being compromised with parts. We have a video of the bike running sweetly,

Engine was professionally removed for rebuild to take place, everything on the scooter was cleaned sand blasted and treated prior to rebuild and assembly.
The scooter is complete and running, a few minor details are yet to be added at the time of the photographs, these minor parts just need fitting to make this a fabulous complete scooter.

This is only up for sale after loss of my storage and workshop facility, and unfortunately waiting for knee replacement means I cannot finish the work myself.

The mileage of just 2942 miles is believed to correct.
