Later it was totally restored and belonged to a collector who has always kept it with extreme care, in 1998 it obtained ASI homologation. It has always been used regularly in rotation with the other cars in the collection and all necessary maintenance has been carried out constantly.
The English racing green colour, despite being one of the most characteristic and popular for MGs, was not standard on the A model even though it was in great demand. It can be seen from the chassis number of this car that the original colour was white and that it was destined for the North American market. In 2022 it passed to another owner who has used it to his satisfaction by carrying out various maintenance work, including the installation of five new Michelin tyres.
