Bought at a project over winter, the vehicle starts and drives but the arches and front cross member is corroded, I will supply as many pictures as you like but have uploaded some I took recently.
The vehicle is relatively low mileage at 101000~, the oil has recently been changed to a 5w30, new air filter too. Parts for these seem to be easy to come by on eBay from breakers such as Independent Isuzu, and some others down south. They’re relatively cheap too, I have been quoted arches a cross member for £140, unfortunately for the amount of cars I own, I won’t get after this one and it’s taking up a lot of space!
This car, while technically drivable, should be transported by a trailer, and therefore I will only sell to those who bring a trailer. The brakes are bad, the power steering has a leak and it’s generally difficult, and likely not safe to drive - consider it a project.
Car & Classic asks if the vehicle has had any major structural work, I don’t believe it has, however, there is a spot of welding on an inner door frame/ wheel arch which I hear is a spot prone to rust. Aside from that, I don’t think any other welding has been done on the car, but you are absolutely free to inspect the vehicle fully if coming to view.
Feel free to ask me any questions on the car and I will do my best to answer them. While the car isn’t in the best of condition, it does come with front fishnet Recaro seats, the drivers side does have a hole in the lower bolster, but they do look great. The radio in the vehicle doesn’t work, I don’t think anyway! But everything else does seem operational, though I’ve not driven the car very far - I bought it and SORN’d it to work on.
