Description
Ford Anglia E04A. Lovely condition, solid and rust free. It starts, stops and drives well. Subject to an older restoration, the black paintwork and chrome brightwork still gleams in the sun. The green interior is in very good condition, as is the headliner and bakelite dashboard. The car is numbers matching and even has a copy of the original sales receipt in the included paperwork. There’s not a lot of history but it has clearly been looked after and well preserved during its life.
Reluctantly selling as have just 'upgraded' to a newer classic and only have room for one car in the garage.
This is a very usable entry into the classic car world or a superb example of an early Anglia if that's what you are looking for. Owned for 5 years, kept in a dry garage on a battery charger and has only been driven around 500 dry miles in that time. Have attended several local shows and am a member of the Ford Sidevalve Owners Club. The previous owner(s) of the car also didn't do many miles either as the online MOT history shows it has only done 3000 miles since 2005! Obviously tax and MOT exempt as the car is approaching 78 years old.
Recent new battery and 4x new period correct tyres. Oil has been changed along with other minor maintenance jobs such as adjusting points, steering box and wheel bearings to keep everything working as it should. LED bulbs have been fitted around the car.
