1964 Ford Consul Capri, originally a pre crossflow 1500cc Deluxe but now fitted with the GT specification pre crossflow engine with a capacity of 1650cc, Downdraught 28/ 36 Weber Carb, 4 branch inlet and exhaust and a remote brake servo. Recent work carried out includes New Stainless Steel exhaust system, new clutch, new rear crank oil seal, New tyres and period wide steel wheels, new side window rubbers. Fitted with Halogen Headlights. The bodywork and interior are in excellent condition finished in Monaco Red paint, and the engine starts and runs perfectly. The car is now sixty years old and therefore benefits from being road tax free, MOT free, and is ULEZ compliant. Extensive history file and paperwork, including owners handbook and workshop manuals. This car is a very useable classic and has no problem with keeping up with modern day traffic. I've owned this car for 2 years and in that time I have brought the car up to a very high standard, I've also enjoyed driving the car, it always gets a lot of attention, I took it to the Goodwood Revival last year, and it has never let me down, but I need to let someone else enjoy her as I have purchased another vehicle and need the space.
