Very low milage for the year and type of vehicle
this is supported by a large history file, packed full of history and receipts for the work carried out over its 33 year life
I travelled the country looking for a decent classic range rover, and what i found was what people perceived as a decent respectable car was way different to what i did
when i found this one i was very surprised on how original and un molested it is
it had been dry stored for the last 3 years, and garaged by its previous owner before that, so it has been protected from the elements, and the tin worm that this encourages
The range Rover has only covered 91190 miles and has recently had its first MOT after its layup
the chassis is very solid, as are the arches, tail gates (top and bottom), the cills required a patch for the MOT, but this was restricted to the lower part of the inner cill
the paintwork is completely original and very presentable, and with a professional cut and polish would be very nice. there are some dings, most notably is on the bonnet and OS wing where it looks like it had a bull bar fitted at some point that has left its mark
and a few other small dents and scratches that could be pulled out by a paintless dent removal company
the interior is very nice and doesn't show any signs or ware or misuse
it has been fitted with an aftermarket radio/ CD with a sub woofer and amp in the boot
all the windows work as does the sunroof, the roof liner on the sunroof and a small section above the boot area has started to sag as do all on this model of Range Rover
engine runs sweet and pulls incredibly well, and the gearbox changes smoothly through all gears
i recently used it to tow a 3t trailer and you could barely tell it was towing
to sum up, with a small amount of detailing it would make a very usable and show ready RRC and be worth 2 to 3 times the asking price
new house project has made me realise that i wont have time for it in the near future, so i have decided to let it go to a new homeoriginal Classic 5 door range Rover
