For sale 1997 1275 Mpi mini. Bought in 2017 as a daily driver but now not needed. In my ownership it has had new heritage sills and rear subframe, gearbox rebuild with 2. 9 diff, stronger diff pin and centre oil pickup and new clutch. New radiator, heater matrix, water pump header tank (and cap). Brake servo and master cylinder, front minisport 4 pot calipers and rear slave cylinders. Mild stage 2 engine with Swiftune SW5 cam, oil pump and followers, 1. 5:1 rockers head ported and polished. RC40 stainless exhaust with Maniflow Mpi manifold and K & n filter. New rubber cones hilo’s rear swing arm bushes new front swivels. The previous owner had the body backdated to a Copper S look with Mk1 bonnet and boot with lights, 10 inch wheels and calipers. The car drives really well. Always reliable but not used as much as it should be. MOT to September 2025 no advisories. Asking £7400. Located Frome Somerset. I bought this as a second car instead of a eurobox. It always brings a smile when I drive it. I always wanted a mk1 look mini but couldn't afford a genuine one so when this one came up it has the no nonsense later mpi technology with the looks of the older style 60's mini. It will be missed but the next owner will enjoy it as I have.
