A stunning Bentley Arnage Red Label finished in striking Meteor Blue paintwork with contrasting primary white Portland and secondary French Blue hide that adds to the elegant presence of this truly pristine car.
With an impeccable service history covering 19 services over it’s 23 year lifetime, the body work is unmarked and has been well maintained and much loved for many years – much of it in storage under protective covers.
It has covered just 37, 300 miles, 28, 500 in the first 3 years and the remaining 8, 500 over the remaining 19 years and has recently had a service and MOT reporting no faults, advisories or warnings.
The exterior has lovely chrome work, rear tinted windows and 18 inch 5 spoke Le Mans style chrome wheels that complement the car which remains true to the original specification selected by it’s first owner.
Optional extra’s include an integrated Nokia 6310i mobile phone, fine line seat stitching, gear level in Portland secondary hide, walnut veneered wood door panels, rear passenger vanity mirrors, picnic tables, dashboard and door edgings in addition to deep pile cirrus lambs wool carpets in the front, rear and boot, powered rear seat adjustment and the original Alpine stereo and Satellite Navigation systems with remote control.
The car has 4 new Hankook Ventus S1 Evo 3 94Y 255/ 50 R18 tyres, 2 rear boot Bentley umbrella’s, Bentley car charger, and an indoor Bentley branded car cover. I always wanted a Bentley and it took some time to find one that in my eyes was classical, elegant and epitomised all that was good about Bentleys of old. The lovely Blue / Grey Meteor outside paintwork of this 2001 Arnage Red Label matched with the fine side pin stripe combined with the clean portland interior with delicate french blue piping that contrasted with the lovely walnut of the dashboard, door cappings, door infill panels, vanity mirrors and picnic tables made it a wonderfully serene place to be - whether this be driving or as a passenger.
I have refrained from modernising the car so it comes with the original 18 inch chrome 5 spoke "Le Mans" sports wheels which give it an authentic look and ride and all I have tried to do is retain the original car features so have added an original Nokia 6310i phone to match the inbuilt cradle, new wheel centre caps, and an internal car cover and charger to ensure it is kept clean and dry during the winter months.
Before I bought the car I had it checked out by a renowed local Bentley specialist who confirmed it's condition was impecable and it's previous history and now 19 service stamps reflects the excellent condition of the car. With 4 new tyres, a recent service and MOT in April 2024 and the car being only run on Shell V plus fuel the car is, in my eyes as good as any Arnage will be of this age. My reason for selling is that I want to do more continental travelling and it is just too big for my wife to enjoy driving, hence why it is time to go. I love it's presence, the fact it is of it's era and that every time I drive it - it becomes an occassion. My only hope is that someone else will feel the same and get as much enjoyment as I have when they own it.
