I had this up for sale in the summer but due to time wasters and holidays I kept it but now feel it’s time for some else to enjoy the car.
Lots of history both before I bought and since I have owned it.
Has current MOT I have owned the car for 3 plus years.
To really appreciate the car come and have a look I know others are cheaper etc but the work I have had completed means it’s ready to drive. The following has been completed during the period I have owned the car.
Full engine overhaul including an Unleaded head conversion, Engine Block Re-Bored, All Bearings replaced, New Camshaft and Followers Fitted, Reconditioned Rocker Shaft, New Timing chain kit and water pump, New Oil Pump, New upgraded rear main oil seal, Engine block painted as per the factory specifications.
Carburettors Overhauled and Set up to factory specifications
Gearbox internally upgraded with new Bearings and Shafts, Restored clutch fork with new bronze bush, New Clutch Slave Cylinder, New Borg and Beck Clutch Kit with release bearing
New Mohair Roof Inc cover.
Both rear floor quarter panels, Rear quarter inner plate, New Crankshaft Pulley fitted,
Both rear brake cylinders and new half shaft seals, Drums and brake shoes, New Rear Shock absorbers fitted, Front Discs and pads fitted, New Radiator fitted, New Rear leaf springs fitted,
Upgrade to the exhaust single exit on one side and New Windscreen.
All the above was completed in 2021 between 07/ 21 and finished 11/ 21.
New heater hoses, Brake master cylinder, left wiper arm replaced, Parcel Shelf fitted, Both Check Straps Replaced, Braided Fuel Line Cut to Correct Size & Reconnected, OIL SEAL, SPEEDO PINION,
O/ Ring Speedo Drive, Lock Arm, SAMCO Hose Kit, Sump Gasket, Oil Filter, Wheel Balance, HC20 Clamps.
All the above completed in April 2022.
The following bodywork etc has been completed July 2022-May 2023
Bare metalled O/ S sill area, wing area, work on sill and inner wheel arch, Rust treatment to protect bare metalled areas, Bare metalled N/ S rear wing - new panel and inner wheel arch repairs, Removed outer sill, inner sill panel and repairs to jacking points, Removed N/ S front wing, door and trim, Repairs to inner front wheel arch and inner footwell panels.
Also refurbished Rostyle wheels. New seatbelts fitted.
All welding that was needed has been done including new wings floor etc also it has had a near full re spray.
Plenty of pictures etc the car is in excellent condition complete with indoor MG cover and current MOT. No expense spared
In total all of the above has cost in the region of £9000 over the time I have had the car. Lots of pictures on a memory stick of the work undertaken.
