Tribute Automotive Rebody:
This car’s styling is heavily influenced by the classic 1960s Italian high performance sports car and racer design houses, but is not a replica of any single model. It has marked similarities to famous racers of the era, and is now registered as a Tribute Z3gato, as this was the project name.
It was built by Chris at Tribute Automotive as the first of its type, and is based on a low mileage Z3 3. 0 automatic with aircon. It retains the full monocoque body shell, running gear, doors and glass of the donor, so is not subject to IVA, and has been correctly re-registered as a Tribute Z3gato in coupe format.
The interior from the seats forward is standard BMW Z3. The roof is vinyl lined in matching colours, as is the rear parcel shelf.
The wheels are Kalibre Classic 17”.
MOT until June 2025. I convinced Tribute to create this model. It looks like well known racers from the era and can easily be modified to be more so.
