1988 Daimler 3. 6 automatic
Owned by my uncle since 1994, has always been dry stored in his garage and only brought out in the dry. This wonderful example of a Daimler 3. 6 automatic has only covered 37K miles. It benefits from electric windows all round and electric sunroof. Has electric adjustable front heated seats. Drives along the road perfectly with no knocks or bangs and cruise control works perfectly for a really comfortable drive.
Has not been used since 2020 Mainly due to work commitments and Covid (Has been started once every few weeks and dry stored in a well ventilated garage)
Drives very well starts first time as you would expect for the mileage and condition of this rare car.
Just gone through a mot with no advisories a very clean example mot until 8/ 8/ 2025 Currently Sorn.
Lots of previous invoices including front suspension replacement and battery etc.
A few general chips and marks around the body as you would expect from the age of the car. All windows have no rust around them etc a common fault on these.
Comes with a spare set of wheels, the plan was to get them refurbed then swap them over to the car. They are included in the sale of the car for the new owner to use as needed.
A few small issue’s that require sorting, defects listed below:
Requires roof lining repair started to sag at the back.
Would benefit from a service due to the time it’s been sat.
There is a message on the dash that says bulb failure even though all bulbs are working however the right indicator flashes fast but all three bulbs work so I’d imagine could be a bulb or relay I’m sure it will be an easy fix. Radio display seems to work randomly so could do with a new radio.
Would recommend viewing to see the car in person but for the age and mileage of the car it’s in very good condition and I would have no problem getting in it and driving 300 miles has always been very reliable.
