Very special R32 for sale.
I drove other VR6s before this - this is very different. Extremely quick and responsive with incredible handling and grip and that amazing engine note. Yet it is compliant - not harsh, with no significant rattles or squeaks. It was built professionally by its previous owner, a racing driver, who had the car for over 15 years and has ensured the optimum set up. I have taken it on and just fettled it and thoroughly enjoyed it, but life’s events mean I need to let someone else enjoy this amazing car. I need to sell by next summer ideally but thought I would test the water now as it won’t get much use over the winter.

It’s very hard to value - I’ve seen nothing similar but at £14, 000 it’s probably under 50% than you could build another one to this standard.
Engine
- R32 and ECU from Golf mk4 (engine code BFH) rebuilt, including gas flowed head by Grant Motor Sports
- Recently remapped to be nicely drivable on the road - est. 280 bhp
- c61k miles (clocks changed to match)
- Stainless steel exhaust and headers.
Mechanicals
- Drenth torque biasing differential - this makes a huge improvement to the handling and grip
- Bilstein adjustable coil over suspension
- Brembo front brakes (seat cupra R)
- Ally mk4 calipers on rear
- New petrol tank and fuel system rebuilt
- Recent alternator and valve cover gasket
- Recent clutch mc and slave
Body
- Extremely clean - no sign of any corrosion
- Has had paint on one side I believe
- Moonroof from a Passat
- 5x rare and desirable Vento Cup Speedline Dymags 16” alloys recently refurbished
- Yokohama Advan Neova with excellent tread
- Spoiler works as it should
- Fog lights and indicators good
- 90mm splitter
- Underbody restoration some years ago - suspension components and engine cradle all powder coated
- Never welded - no rot
Interior
- Bespoke quality leather / alcantara interior (Ian Fowler VW Doctor)
- Italvolanti Indianapolis Corsa Steering wheel and boss - perfect driving position (for me at least)
- New heater matrix and plumbing
- Blaupunkt period looking radio with DAB, blue tooth and hands free with slimline sub woofer mounted in the boot

If you’re in the market for a Corrado and don’t mind a tastefully modified car, this must be one of the best driving cars out there. If VW had built an R32 this could be it. There is nothing needed other than to personalise it if you feel the need.
