Available for sale is my 1988 Ford Fiesta 1. 1L.
It’s time for me to part ways with this brilliant little car. It’s been super fun to own and make some improvements to. Like usual though I’ve just got too many cars needing attention, so I’m looking to move this on to a new owner.
Presented in its original shade of Rosso Red, this charming little car sports great mechanicals, clean and bright bodywork, and low mileage (although unfortunately I cannot back this up with any hard proof).
Great fun to own and drive, it’s a get in and enjoy motor. Might as well run on fresh air with its 1. 1 engine and lightweight construction.
Condition wise it’s great, with no real mechanical faults to report. Bodywork is nice and straight with mostly good paint, only being let down by a handful or so of age-related blemishes. I would say it’s a ‘ten-footer’ being totally transparent… however everyone else who sees it goes mad over how tidy is!
There’s scuffs, areas of poor paint repair, some scabby bits on arch edges etc. Really nothing to get too concerned about, but worth mentioning as they of course effect the overall condition.
Like i say, everyone i meet sees it as 'mint', but being the owner I know of all it's little faults/ quirks.
Completely standard, and unmolested other than a repaint/ light resto some years ago.
Interior is immaculate, certainly leans towards this cars displayed 34, 000 miles being accurate.
Engine is sweet and peppy. Sounds well and starts first crack every time.
Brakes great.
Gearbox great with nice direct shifter.
Electricals all good.
Brand new tyres.
Recent service + fuel lines.
Original style radio all working nice.
Everything on one key.

Gets attention almost like nothing else I’ve owned - people in the UK sure do love these old Ford’s!
Faults other than mentioned - fuel gauge has stopped working along with the rear wiper. But that’s it.
Looking for £4, 750Great car with a huge amount of character. Easy to use and enjoy every day or just on the weekends/ nice weather days. Gets huge amounts of admiration everywhere.
