Description
Mazda MX-5 Merlot special edition, for spares or repair. The car runs very well, but a brake-pipe failure (close to home) left the car with no brakes. Due to other projects I have not dealt with the issue, so the car's MoT lapsed in 2023, and it has not been used since. The bodywork is fairly tidy, having been restored a few years ago, but there are blisters on the rear arches and especially the o/ s/ f wing ahead of the wheel. The leather on the driver's seat is torn along the seam on the cushion, but otherwise the interior is in good condition. The mohair hood is still in quite good condition and watertight. There are good Toyo Proxes tyres fitted all round (on Mk2 wheels). Please note: the first photograph shows the car a couple of years ago; the rest were taken today. I have owned the car for 4 years, and it now needs someone who can take proper care of it - a good Winter project to get ready for the Spring!
