This was an original rubber bumber version - all the work was done in 2021/ 2022 and the car is only used on dry days and garaged in the meantime. I bought it during lock-down and spent most of the winter weekends working on it once it came back from the bodyshop and have enjoyed some nice summer drives in it since. There are a few things that could potentially be done... for example I bought a new petrol tank and haven't fitted it (which will come with the car) and I've not refurbished the engine bay area which is still in the original Brooklands Green. But the essential bits are all tidy and work well. Its a really lovely car to drive and with the straight-through exhaust, sounds like its the V8 and not just the 1800cc. I coveted the MGB when I was younger and always wanted to own one so when I eventually got this one, I didn't skimp on what I bought or how much work was required during the restoration. And, if you've had an MGB, you'll know just how well they drive and this one is no exception to that rule - she will easily keep up with modern day traffic with the overdrive making a decent 5th gear.
