Golf GTi Mk1 Series 2 1983.
Beautifully presented Golf GTi with age related marks and a few rust patches. The car is garaged and rarely used. Over my 10 years of ownership I’ve only covered 10k miles. Car is now MOT and Tax exempt as registered with the DVLA. MOT history available with lots of service history and the original collection sticker which matches up with the VIN.
Unfortunately I’ve not had time or spare money to complete to the high standard I wanted, however the price reflects these bits and pieces.
The car has been maintained to a high level:
Head gasket was changed early in my ownership work completed by Volksberg including head being skimmed. (Documented)
Pirelli p slots have been powder coated retaining black P’s.
The car is lowered on Vogtland springs approx 40mm (these are rusting as the purple protective coating has pealed off)
These are matched with Koni adjustable shocks, the front inserts were replaced early in my ownership due to the previous owner not having secured the shock inserts properly (serious MOT failure). The rear shocks have prestige powerflex top mounts (changed out recently)
The only other stray from standard is the K&N panel air filter.

New accelerator cable
New clutch cable
New cam belt and tensioner
Oil change with Mobil 1 10W 40.
Rear Prestige Powerflex Top mounts
New nearside inner rack boot fitted.
New nearside track rod end.
New front Brembo disks combined with Ferredo pads.
Previously to my ownership the car underwent a very detailed restoration which is present with the cars folder. During the restoration the car was undersealed, which is still in tact under the car and throughout all wheel arches. Beautiful car to drive and never fails to put a smile on my face (with the exception of the day it sells)
