• This Range Rover Classic 200tdi manual is a desirable and highly versatile modern classic 4x4, which has been meticulously rebuilt from the chassis up over the last 2 years
• The rebuild has taken a heritage theme and sports heritage green paintwork, back dated vertical slat grill and rostyle wheels finished in limestone
• Under the bonnet sits what is deemed to be one the best and most reliable Land Rover engines, the 200tdi diesel. This is coupled to a 5 speed manual gearbox and borg-warner transfer box driving all 4 wheels.
• First registered in August 1993, this example has been with me since 2022.
• The odometer shows 180, 325 miles from new at time of writing.
EQUIPMENT AND FEATURES
• This Range Rover Classic is finished land rover heritage Atlantic green over a tan leather-trimmed interior.
• It sits on a set of 16-inch limestone rostyle wheels, which are shod in 235/ 85 r16 Goodyear Wrangler MT/ r tyres.
• Equipment includes DAB radio, manual tan leather seats, 60/ 60 split rear seats high and low range gearing and a viscous coupling centre differential lock
• The car comes with a spare wheel, two keys, two central locking fobs, the V5C, prior MOT certificate and a very large collection of receipts from the recent rebuild.
CONDITION
• Please refer to the photo gallery to assess the exterior and interior condition.
• Specific condition includes a few car park dings in body panels, some small marks on interior carpet, centre console marks and blemishes specifically in the cubby box area. The car is over 30 years old so please take this into consideration when looking at condition and will have marks, blemishes and wear and tear
• The car’s last MOT test was conducted on 2nd of May 2024 at 179, 573 miles, which resulted in a first-time pass with no advisories.
REBUILD
• Rebuild was conducted from late 2022 to early 2024 and included a body off restoration checking condition and replacing or repairing necessary part throughout the whole vehicle
• The chassis has been stripped and painted with rust encapsulator and chassis paint to give a hard durable finish. The cavity of the chassis has been treated with cavity wax to ensure longevity and Lanogaurd used to protect the chassis and underside of the body going forward
• The body was removed from the chassis, striped and repaired where needed. It was treated to a new rear wheel arch, full new boot floor, new galvanised rear body cross member, both front inner wings were replaced along with both outer sills. There were also repairs to the bulkhead and the floor pan. Once repairs were completed the undersides of the body was treated with stone chip paint to protect and the shell of the body was painted with primer and body colour topcoat.
• The engine was removed and inspected. The engine was in good health and new head gasket was installed along with big end bearings, valve stem seals, fuel lift pump, water pump, radiator, full clutch system, and was serviced including cam belt, oils and filters. Both gearboxes were in good condition and oil changed.
• Axles were rebuilt with new OEM wheel bearing on each wheel, new swivels fitted and oil seals. The steering was overhauled with refurbished steering box and new track rod ends. Non-ABS brakes have been fully overhauled with new calipers at each wheel, new brake lines throughout and new master cylinder.
• The interior is in great condition with a carpet set from a low milage donor car and freshly re-trimmed tan leather seats. The original dash, door cards and centre console has been refitted.

This Range Rover Classic 200tdi is a comfortable and eminently capable modern classic 4x4, which has undergone and extensive rebuild. Presented with an appealing heritage Alantic Green finish, and boasting a dependable work horse engine of the 200tdi, lauded all-terrain capabilities, and a spacious and well-appointed cabin, it would make a stylish and versatile companion for retro daily driving, weekend adventures, and long-distance road trips alike.

Viewing of the car is welcome and advised but will need to arranged in advance. I will make best effort to accommodate viewing and can be available most evenings or weekends.
Car is located near Worthing in West Sussex and there is a private road where the car can be test driven. I can deliver the car at cost and this can be arranged via discussionI bought this as a light restoration project to use as a tow vehicle, daily driver and do the off camping trip. However, the restoration turned into a full body off rebuild which took longer than expected.
I've been using the car for the summer and it drives incredibly well and I've done some long trips but my needs have changed and it is not getting the use that it deserves.
Everything on the car has been gone over and it is in great mechanical condition. The paint work and interior is great but as expected there is some wear and tear from being a 30+ year old car.
