Despite this being a 1998 car, making it 26 years old, this outstanding example has covered just over 52, 000 miles in its lifetime!
This is a one owner car!
There isn’t a spec of rust anywhere to be found, on the body or even underneath (see pictures)!
The car has just passed its MOT with no advisories whatsoever so comes with a full 12 months.
In addition to that, the car has just had a new cam belt kit fitted along with a new water pump and it also received an engine service at the same time (oil, oil filter, and air filter).
This really is a time-warp condition example. Getting into this Forester feels like stepping back into the 90’s!
Inside, the interior is complete and free from any damage, tears, stains etc - even the driver’s seat bolster is as new. What’s more is that the original Subaru stereo still resides in the dash!
The car drives superbly throughout all the gears without any undue hesitation, crunches or whines and the selectable Hi/ Lo range also works as it should (as does the full time 4WD system).
Externally there is absolutely no damage to speak of and the car enjoys the addition of a proper tow bar and a heavy duty roof rack complete with tie-down anchors.
all five Bridgestone Dueller tyres are in fine condition with loads of life left in them (this includes the spare wheel)
Underneath & in the wheel arches, the car is utterly original, never welded and is completely solid.
I have just fitted a brand new exhaust back box as the old one was the only part of the car that didn’t look like new!
Just take a look under the bonnet - the engine bay could pass for that of a car a third of it's age!
Overall this is a phenomenal example of a now rarely seen gem! A tough, reliable work horse with years left in it…Certainly one to be cherished for the future!
