Description
Offered for sale is a superbly restored 1969 Shelby GT350. This iconic car is in showroom condition and ready to enjoy. It was originally delivered to the Hertz company in California for their Rent a Racer program and was ordered fully optioned, including air conditioning. It is beautifully finished in Grabber Green with white Clarion interior as it was when originally delivered. The Shelby was imported into Australia in 2005 and a full restoration was carried out by an Australian Shelby expert. It was purchased for the Ian Cummins collection in 2014 and has remained in the family ever since. It was mainly used for display purposes and was rarely driven. It has American Racing wheels fitted at present. The original Shelby wheels are included and they are basically in unmarked condition.
After many years in storage, the Shelby has just had a full service and inspection carried out. It is a pleasure to drive.
